Moises Martinez has spent the last few years developing his vision of what his photography should be. He creates images that make you look several different times to see the little details in simplicity and beauty. He started his exploration of photography as a way to escape the daily rigors of military life, and later moved to Chicago from the Bay Area of California, chasing his dream and the images in his head.
Moe specializes in portraits, from fine art to fashion, venturing into the world of fetish fashion as well. His Documentary photos have been featured in the Chicago Public Radio website and other Chicago news blogs.
Moe is bilingual, although his Spanish could be better. While in the US Navy, he was a mechanic for fighter jets, and before that he was an IT administrator. He loves Chicago (but misses the smell of salty sea air), carries a guitar pick with him everywhere he goes (but is not all that proficient with the guitar), is rarely seen without his camera (to the chagrin of friends), and is paranoid that all other drivers are out to get him.
